Dr Elizabeth Faunce, CFP, is an associate professor of economics and finance and member of the Immaculata University Business and Accounting Department for sixteen years; serving four years as full-time faculty and twelve years as an adjunct member. Dr Faunce facilitates in both undergraduate and graduate programs in the traditional, accelerated, and online environments to a diverse student’s population. She is also responsible for curriculum development in these venues. She has been actively involved in grant funded research projects focused on improving faculty metacognition since 2012 and serves as a convener at Immaculata for the building Faculty Capacity Initiative. She was a co-founder of Immaculata`s peer learning community, “The Academy of Metacognition” and co-developer of the IU Cross Disciplinary Rubric for faculty metacognition. Dr Faunce is currently presenting at national and international conferences on the importance of improving faculty metacognition
